Silent Day
* These events take place in English. Therefore all communication about this event will also be in English
Our Silent Days consists of several elements:
Yoga: A silent day includes a Hatha Yoga session to get us started and a Yin Yoga session to land into the here and now.
Introduction to breathing techniques: We will provide you with some basic breathing techniques which you can use to influence your nervous system whenever you need it.
Introduction to meditation: We will start with an introduction to meditation, introducing you to techniques you might use to remain aware during meditation. Later in the day, you can start practicing with these techniques in a silent meditation session
Healthy lunch: We will provide a lunch, including a salad, a soup and bread with spreads. Also, tea and fruits are provided.
Journaling session: In the journaling session, you are invited to go deeper within and reflect on several aspects of your life. We will guide you through a journaling practice that will provide more clarity and insight.
Whether or not it is your first time in silence, the program is designed to help you 'check in' with yourself in a more profound way than you normally would, when interacting with the world around you more intensely.
Silent Retreat
The our Silent Retreats consists of 4 main elements that make up the program:
Yoga: Every morning we start with a Hatha Yoga session and in the evening we end with a Yin Yoga session.
Meditation: We will meditate for 2 to 3 times a day for around 30 minutes per meditation session. Guided meditations will be alternated by silent meditation sessions, in which you will be able to dive even deeper into the silence.
Healthy food: We will provide 3 vegetarian meals a day along with some healthy snacks. Also, tea and fruits are provided for free throughout the retreat.
Reflection: There will be several moments during the retreat where you will have 'me-time'; time to reflect, to go inwards, to relax, and to connect with yourself and with the silence. Moreover, we will have a guided journaling session that is intended to help you go deeper within.
Additionally, we will support you throughout the program by helping you deal with the silence. We will provide tips and tricks, and the yoga and meditation sessions will also support you in your process. Whether or not it is your first time in silence, the program is designed to help you 'come home' to yourself.

The event will take place at Wongema in the North of Groningen.
